Barely under a year ago, I laid eyes on you for the first time since elementary school. Shortly after, I didn’t hear from you again. In October, I thought I mistook a girl for you at FLC. By the end of that month, you visited me after my accident. On November 8, I asked you to be my girlfriend…you said yes. Today is our 6 months. I know it ain’t much, but it’s something. I had never felt so sure about anything or anyone until I heard you whisper “yes”. In 6 months, we’ve hit the best of times, and the worst. Now, the two can only grow. Yet, I know we’ll get through it, just like we have been, for years on end. Times may get rough, but hey, just look at the times we’ve shared in such a short amount of time. I grew up taught to never believe in love; that I had no chance at it; that it wasn’t reality. However, being with you so far has changed my beliefs.
